Job Summary:
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. You will provide support, assistance, and encouragement to help them achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life. You will enable the individual to live Independently and be productive in the comfort of their home environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education in human services or related fields preferred.
- Had 6 or more months of prior hands-on experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Must be comfortable in using multiple computer/mobile device programs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and be listed on the Home Care Aide Registry. (We can help you with this)
- Negative TB testing and CPR Certificate (We can help you with this)
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written plan of Care/Aide Plan.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
