We are expecting a surge of dementia respite cases through the GUIDE Program. ComForCare is an approved provider for GUIDE, and we are forming a dedicated caregiver pool. These cases are usually consistent, daytime or evening hours, with families who need structured respite. Are you open to being part of the GUIDE caregiver pool and taking on priority dementia cases?

What you will be doing:
- Providing quality Elder Care for clients with Dementia
- Follow a dementia-specific care plan
- Create meaningful activities
- Complete all activities of daily living (ADL's)
- Accurately document all notes and tasks in the app
- Follow structured safety protocols
- Promptly report safety concerns

What we are looking for:
Requirements:
- Compassionate, Fun, and Devoted to caring for others
- Must have strong dementia experience (1+ years preferred).
- Weekday & Weekend Availability
- Reliable, consistent, and able to start cases quickly (48–72 hours when needed)
- Complete CA Required and dementia-specific training
- CA Home Care Aide Registration (we can help you get this!)
- Live Scan Fingerprint Background Check (We can do this in the office!)
- Reliable Transportation
- CPR and recent TB test
Additional Requirements
Valid California driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
