Position Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for supporting ComForCare’s caregiver and LVN hiring pipeline from initial applicant review through onboarding completion. This role focuses on qualifying prospective caregivers, keeping candidates engaged, helping them complete required certifications and documentation, and ensuring they are ready to begin work.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable managing a high-volume pipeline, and skilled at moving candidates through each step of the hiring and onboarding process.
- Source, screen, and interview caregiver applicants.
- Qualify prospective caregiver candidates to determine whether they meet hiring requirements.
- Communicate updates and next steps to candidates in a timely and professional manner.
- Guide candidates through the full hiring and onboarding process from initial qualification through completion.
- Assist candidates with required HCA certification, TB testing, Live Scan background checks, training, and onboarding documentation.
- Assign onboarding tasks and track candidate completion.
- Assign and monitor completion of online training.
- Collect and verify required insurance paperwork and other onboarding documents.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, applicant tracking updates, and pipeline reports.
- Follow up regularly with candidates to reduce drop-off and keep the hiring pipeline moving.
- Lead orientation for new hires.
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure candidates are ready for placement once onboarding is complete.
- Assist the Scheduler with matching clients to caregivers as needed.
- Support onboarding efforts and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Perform administrative tasks that help streamline recruitment operations.
- Use technology and AI tools appropriately to help expedite and organize the recruitment process.
- Work closely with the office team, demonstrating strong communication, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, follow-through, and candidate communication while managing a large pipeline.
- Meet hiring and onboarding goals established by the agency.
- Support a consistent flow of qualified caregivers who are ready for placement.
- Help reduce candidate drop-off by providing timely communication and clear next steps.
- Upbeat, professional, and people-focused personality.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of recruitment experience preferred.
- Caregiver recruitment experience preferred.
- Experience in recruiting, onboarding, staffing, healthcare, home care, or a high-volume administrative role preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates at different stages of the hiring process.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable using applicant tracking systems, spreadsheets, online training platforms, and digital documentation tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
