- Provide temporary relief and respite care to primary family caregivers of individuals with disabilities, illness, or aging-related needs
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior to appropriate supervisors
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Follow individualized care plans to ensure consistent, high-quality support
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs for each client visit
- Prior experience in home care, respite care, caregiving, or a related field preferred
- Genuine compassion and patience when working with individuals and families in need
- Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
- Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
