- Provide hands-on personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) to promote independence and dignity
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Monitor and document changes in client health, behavior, or condition and report to supervisors
- Safely assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Administer medication reminders in accordance with care plans
- Follow individualized care plans to meet each client's unique physical and emotional needs
- Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional, caregiver, home health aide, or similar role preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and dedication to supporting individuals in need
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or GED required
